The San Diego Chargers made a trio of moves Monday morning, signing guard Vi Teofilo to a three-year contract while waiving guard Sebastian Johansson and waiving/injured linebacker Brock Hekking.
Teofilo impressed the Bolts at Rookie Mini Camp over the weekend as a non-contract participant. The 6-3, 315-pound lineman started 40 straight games at right guard for Arizona State, and was a two-time honorable mention All-Pac-12 selection. He also made a name for himself at the Sun Devils' Pro Day when he maxed out at 43 reps on the bench press, which would have been tops at this year's Scouting Combine.
The Swedish born Johannson initially joined the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Marshall this year, while Hekking spent all of 2015 on IR after suffering an injury during the preseason.
