Another member of the San Diego Chargers draft class put pen to paper on Thursday as tight end Hunter Henry signed a four-year contract with the Bolts.
The 6-5, 250-pound tight end out of Arkansas was selected in the second round with the 35th overall pick. He caught 116 passes for 1,661 yards and nine touchdowns in 38 career games with the Razorbacks. Henry was a consensus first team All-American and John Mackey Award Winner as the nation's top tight end last season when he set career-highs in receptions (51) and yards (739). He did not record a single drop in 2015.
Henry is the sixth Chargers pick from the 2016 NFL Draft to sign a contract. The only two picks that remain unsigned are defensive end Joey Bosa (first round) and center Max Tuerk (third round).
