Presenting your 2016 San Diego Chargers.
Philip Rivers has a new weapon at his disposal as the San Diego Chargers signed WR Geremy Davis off the New York Giants practice squad.
Originally a sixth-round pick (186th overall) by the Giants in the 2015 draft, Davis is a 6-2, 217-pound wideout who rewrote the record books at UConn. He left as the most prolific wide receiver in Huskies' FBS history, totaling 165 receptions and 2,292 receiving yards. Davis appeared in 10 games as a rookie for New York last season, catching two passes for 21 yards.
While Davis is a new addition to the 53-man roster, the Bolts also signed OT Tyreek Burwell and CB Michael Lee to the practice squad. Burwell began this season on the active roster while Lee spent time with the team this summer.
