Lt. Col. Dan Stromberg is a combat pilot in the United States Air Force. He is currently the 160th Attack Squadron Commander, stationed at March Air Reserve Base in Riverside. He has served for 19 years and will retire next year. He has been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan and has flown combat missions in both theaters. He has earned several awards and honors for flying in combat, and has accrued 4,000 hours in the air.
He has received 4 Air Medals, 2 Meritorious Service Medals, 4 Aerial Achievement Medals, 2 Humanitarian Service Medals, and Global War on Terror Expeditionary and Service Medals.
Not only does he work hard in the military, he works hard at serving his family and his community. He volunteers as a board member for his local Little League, coaches both baseball and football, and is also an Assistant Scoutmaster.
