Biography

James MacPherson joined the Chargers front office in 2014. He played quarterback at Wake Forest University from 1998-2002 under Jim Caldwell and Jim Grobe before going to training camp with the Indianapolis Colts in 2003, learning from Tony Dungy behind Peyton Manning. While playing for the Demon Deacons, MacPherson was named the 2002 Seattle Bowl MVP. He played in the Arena Football League 2 with the Green Bay Blizzard in 2006, and in the Arena Football League with the Georgia Force in 2007 and the Grand Rapids Rampage in 2008 — playing for Bob Landsee, Doug Plank and Steve Thonn along the way.
