Inglewood Chargers

The Inglewood Chargers, who participate in the Snoop Youth Football League, are a Chargers-sponsored youth tackle team. Throughout their past five years as the Chargers, the team has received funding to underwrite registration costs and equipment reconditioning. The team has also purchased customized Chargers uniforms and provided opportunities to be a part of different offseason, training camp, and in-season events.

Character Playbook

The Chargers host the Super Bowl participating teams from the Snoop Youth Football League in the team locker room at SoFi Stadium to run a Character Playbook event with Everfi. The event focuses on character development, leadership, and mental health, preparing the young athletes in attendance for the next level of football and life.

Youth Football Tradition

The Youth Football Tradition was started by the NFL during the 2017 preseason, but the Chargers made it a season-long commitment to highlight football at all levels. At every home game since 2017, the Chargers bring a local youth football team to SoFi Stadium for a pregame field visit to watch the teams warm up. The teams then get to run out of the tunnel just like the Bolts do, and the day's events culminate with the youth teams joining the Chargers on the field for the national anthem. For each game, the teams are provided tickets to attend the game with their coaches.

NFL Network Visits

The Chargers, in collaboration with NFL Network, extend invitations to different youth football programs from throughout Southern California to have the opportunity to be on set and interact with the NFL Network analysts while being on live television for NFL Game Day Kickoff.
