About Bolt Academy

Bolt Academy – presented by SoFi – is a unique partnership between the Los Angeles Chargers Impact Fund, Inglewood Unified School District and Brotherhood Crusade.

Selected juniors and seniors from Inglewood High Schools participate in a six month after-school program to build leadership and career readiness skills. Those who successfully complete and graduate from the program, have the opportunity to see what it means to work for the Chargers on game days.

Our Bolt Academy students spend nearly a year in the program, where they walk away with confidence, life skills and career readiness training that will take them far into their future career paths.

Chargers Celebrate Bolt Academy Graduates at SoFi Stadium

Recently the Chargers celebrated our graduates of the Bolt Academy, an innovative career training and leadership program. The graduates had the great opportunity to see what it means to work for the Chargers on game days thanks to partnerships with the Chargers Impact Fund, Brotherhood Crusade, Inglewood Unified School District, and SoFi.

Brotherhood Crusade: Founded in 1968, Brotherhood Crusade's principal mission is to champion equality and equity by removing and/or helping individuals overcome the barriers that deter their pursuit of success in life and facilitate opportunities for a better quality of life by effectuating improved health and wellness, facilitating academic success, promoting personal, social and economic growth, providing access to artistic excellence & cultural awareness, increasing financial literacy and building community agencies and institutions.

Bolt Academy Commencement Celebration with Chargers & SoFi

Presented by SoFi, Bolt Academy is a collaborative partnership between the Los Angeles Chargers Impact Fund, Inglewood Unified School District, and Brotherhood Crusade, a nonprofit building power in South L.A. for over 50 years, created to prepare students for careers. The group came together at SoFi Stadium to celebrate the young scholars from the Bolt Academy who successfully completed and graduated from the program.

An innovative career training and leadership program, Bolt Academy has had a successful launch this past season. Chargers, SoFi Celebrate Bolt Academy Graduation Event

In partnership with the Los Angeles Chargers Impact Fund, Inglewood Unified School District, and Brotherhood Crusade, SoFi celebrated the graduation of 14 young scholars from the Bolt Academy program. The program is designed to offer juniors and seniors from Inglewood high schools the opportunity to participate in a six month after-school program to develop leadership and job-readiness skills.
