The Los Angeles Chargers (4-3) hit the road for an AFC matchup against the Cleveland Browns (2-6) in Week 9 at Huntington Bank Field.
MATCHUP HISTORY
Sunday's matchup will mark the 30th regular-season matchup between the two teams. The Bolts hold a 19-9-1 all-time regular season record against Cleveland, including having won the last four games and last two in Cleveland.
The last meeting between these two teams came in Week 5 of the 2022 season in Cleveland.
It came down to the last second, as the Bolts were able to overcome a 14-0 deficit to win a thriller on the road. Quarterback Justin Herbert had an effective game throwing for 228 yards and a touchdown but it was the Chargers run game that powered the effort as they totaled 238 rushing yards on the afternoon. One of the plays of the game was from Alohi Gilman, who notched a red-zone interception early in the fourth quarter that took points off the board.
