The Chargers head into Kansas City looking for their fifth straight win.
While the number one priority is the team's success, it goes without saying that individual accomplishments directly correlate to the greater good.
As such, take a look over some of these three eyepopping numbers:
Red Hot Defense
The Chargers currently rank second in the league, allowing only 225 total points, which comes down to just 17.3 points per game. So just how good have the Bolts been? The last time they ranked in the top five in points against was in 2007, when they ranked fifth (17.8). Over their last eight games, they've only given up 13.8, which is also the second best in the league in that span. In addition, the Chargers have held their last three opponents to under 300 yards of total offense for the first time since 2012.
Philip Rivers
During the four-game winning streak, number 17 is the only starting QB to not throw an interception. He also leads the league with a 119.2 passer rating, which is nearly 15 points higher than the next highest mark. Altogether, Rivers has completed 69.1-percent of his passes over this stretch for 1,348 yards and eight touchdowns.
Melvin Gordon
By finding pay dirt last week against the Washington Redskins, Gordon became the only player in the NFL with over 1,000-yards from scrimmage and 10-plus touchdowns each of the past two seasons. The third-year running back has noticed 1,160 yards total this year (853 rushing, 307 receiving) with 10 touchdowns (six rushing, four receiving). A year ago, he had 1,416 yards (997 rushing, 419 receiving) from scrimmage and 12 scores (10 rushing, two receiving). Overall, Gordon is second in the NFL with 22 touchdowns since the start of last season. He currently ranks fourth in scoring in 2017 among non-kickers with 60 points.
Keenan Allen
Much has been said about the play of KA13, but that doesn't mean it's not worth repeating. In the last four games alone, Allen's hauled in 34 receptions for 547 yards and four touchdowns. He eclipsed 100 yards in each game, which is tied with Antonio Brown for the longest streak this season. It's also the second-best streak in franchise history. Allen kicked off this stretch of hot play by becoming the first player in history to record 10-plus catches, 100-plus receiving yards and at least one TD in three straight games For the year, he's caught 83 passes for 1,142 yards and five touchdowns, setting career-highs in a single season for receptions and yards. His 1,142 receiving yards rank fifth in the NFL while his 83 catches are sixth. He's also been money on the money down, leading the league in third down receptions (31) and yards (464).
