Argosy University is proud to partner with the Los Angeles Chargers to support continued education for active duty and veteran military service members with the Chargers Boots and Bolts Scholarship program.
The Boots and Bolts Scholarship program will provide two deserving active duty or veteran service members with a $10,000 scholarship each this football season to support their continued education at Argosy University.
Applications are being accepted from September 19, 2018 through October 31, 2018 and may be submitted by an active duty service member or veteran or by an individual who wishes to nominate them. The winning recipients will be awarded their scholarships on the field at the Chargers Salute to Service game on November 18, 2018.
"At Argosy University, we are grateful for the service of our military men and women and we are proud to support their continued education with the Boots and Bolts Scholarship," said Argosy University Chancellor Dr. Cynthia Baum. "We know that service takes dedication, perseverance and hard work – skills that we look for in students to ensure they make an impact in their communities, their families, and the world."
"Being that my grandfather is a proud Air Force veteran, the military community has always been very near and dear to our family's heart," said Chargers President of Business Operations A.G. Spanos. "Getting involved in programs that assist the brave men and women who so selflessly serve our country is just one of the ways in which we can say thank you. This partnership with Argosy University continues a proud Chargers tradition of supporting our military, this time by providing scholarships for service members to continue their education, and we couldn't be more excited to get the selection process started."
