The San Diego Chargers added two new additions to the practice squad on Monday, bringing the total up to eight:
WR Jonathan Krause– A 5-11, 190-pound wide receiver out Vanderbilt, Krause has spent time with the Cleveland Browns, New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers since entering the league as an undrafted free agent two years ago. He won a Super Bowl ring as a member of the Patriots practice squad in 2014. Krause has appeared in two regular season games, both last year with the Philadelphia Eagles as he caught two passes for 11 yards.
TE Jake McGee – The tight end most recently suited up for the Oakland Raiders this offseason after splitting his collegiate career between Virginia and Florida. A 6-5, 250-pound target known for his reliable hands, he totaled 112 catches for 1,150 yards and 11 touchdowns between the two schools. McGee earned second team All-SEC honors last season finishing with 41 catches for 381 yards and four touchdowns for the Gators.
