One week after winning a trio of notable awards, the Los Angeles Chargers have once again been nominated for several honors following another big win.
For the second week in a row, Philip Rivers is nominated for FedEx's Air Player of the Week.
His Week 13 Pro Bowl-caliber performance against the Cleveland Browns earned him the nod. Rivers faces stiff competition in Kansas City Chiefs' Alex Smith and Josh McCown of the New York Jets.
In the 19-10 win, Rivers completed 31 of 43 attempts (72.1-percent) for 344 yards and one score. He posted 219 yards in the first half. Along with his 219 in the first half at Dallas last week, he has notched 200-plus passing yards in the first half in consecutive games for the first time since 2014. Additionally, his Week 13 performance had him surpass 49,000 regular season passing yards for his career. His sole touchdown moved his career total to 335, passing Eli Manning for seventh all-time. The 300-yard-plus passing game was the 55th of his career.

Meanwhile, Desmond King has been nominated as the Pepsi Rookie of the Week.
The fifth-round pick out of Iowa tallied six tackles, two tackles for loss and a sack in the defense's dominating effort. His second quarter sack brought his season total to 3.0, tying Martin Bayless (1990) for the fifth-most in a single season by a defensive back in Chargers history. He also recorded 82 total return yards to spark the special teams unit.
Finally, Keenan Allen was nominated as the Castrol Edge Clutch Performer of the Week.
KA13 hauled in 10 catches for 105 yards and one touchdown. In the process, he became the first player in NFL history to record 10-plus receptions, 100-plus receiving yards and at least one touchdown in three straight games. Allen came through in the clutch numerous times, scoring the Bolts' lone TD of the game while also hauling in a 26-yard catch on fourth down.
