Add another honor to Cameron Dicker's incredible season.
The Chargers kicker was named the AFC Special Teams Player of the Week on Tuesday morning, the third such award of his career.
Dicker was clutch in Week 17 as he drilled four field goals and four extra points for a league-high 16 points as the Bolts clinched a playoff berth.
The 24-year-old has now made 35 of 37 field goals this season for a stellar 94.6 success rate. That percentage leads all NFL kickers with a minimum of 25 attempts and Dicker's 35 makes are a single-season franchise record.
Dicker also made history earlier this month when he drilled a 57-yard fair catch kick against the Broncos. That also set an NFL record and was the first successful fair catch kick since 1976.
Overall, Dicker has made 87 of 92 career field goals and has knocked in 85 of 90 attempts in powder blue.
He is the most accurate kicker in NFL history by any player with at least 90 attempts with a success rate of 94.6 percent.
Chargers Special Teams Coordinator Ryan Ficken raved about Dicker's approach and mindset earlier this season.
"The biggest thing is just his demeanor. Whether it's a historical kick or a regular PAT, he approaches it the same way," Ficken said. "He is truly a weapon for our team. He gives us the ability to do anything and everything that we want to go achieve in terms of special teams and how we want to attack teams, not only just field goal-wise but also as a kickoff specialist.
"I love the way he approaches not only the game, but the approaches the locker room and his relationships with his teammates," Ficken added. "He's just one of the guys and he's just out there to compete to help his team win in any situation. I learned from him the way he carries himself every day."
Dicker, who is the Chargers 2024 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year nominee, previously won Special Teams Player of the Week honors twice in 2022 (Week 5 with the Eagles and Week 9 with the Chargers).
He was also the 2022 AFC Special Teams Player of the Month and was named to the Professional Football Writers of America's All-Rookie Team.
Dicker is the second Chargers player to win a weekly honor this season as rookie cornerback Tarheeb Still was the Week 13 AFC Defensive Player of the Week.
