The San Diego Chargers announced Monday that they've added Fred Graves as Senior Offensive Assistant.
Graves previously spent the last three seasons as the team's wide receivers coach, and boasts 39 years coaching the position both professionally and on the collegiate level.
"Fred is a tremendously experienced and knowledgeable coach who's going to help me and the entire coaching staff in a variety of areas," said Head Coach Mike McCoy. "You can't have too many good football coaches."
In addition to his previous tenure with the Charges, Graves has also coached for the Carolina Panthers (2011-12), Tennessee Titans (2007-10), Detroit Lions (2005), Cleveland Browns (2004) and Buffalo Bills (2001-03). He spent 19 seasons at the University of Utah prior to making the leap to the NFL.
