Philip Rivers and Drew Brees will share a practice field for the first time since the 2005 season when the Los Angeles Chargers and New Orleans Saints hold joint practices ahead of their Week 2 preseason game.
The practices will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 17 and Friday, August 18 at Jack Hammett Sports Complex in Costa Mesa. Both practices will be open to the public and fans can reserve bleacher seating passes by visiting chargers.com/camp.
The Chargers will also be holding a joint practice with the Los Angeles Rams at StubHub Center on August 5. The practice is open only to season ticket members and those on the waitlist.
For the second year in a row, the Bolts are teaming up with a preseason opponent before game action. They held a joint practice with the Arizona Cardinals in 2016.
