One of Philip Rivers' most reliable targets is officially back in the fold as restricted free agent Dontrelle Inman signed a one-year contract on Tuesday. The Chargers previously tagged the wide receiver with a second-round tender in early March.
The 6-3, 205-pound Inman is entering his fourth season with the Bolts after joining the team out of the CFL in 2014. He emerged as one of Rivers' favorite weapons the following season, catching 35 passes for 486 yards and three touchdowns in 14 games with seven starts.
Last season was Inman's breakout year as he set career-highs across the board. He started all 16 games while catching 58 passes for 810 yards and four TDs. Overall, Inman has caught 105 passes for 1,454 yards and seven touchdowns in 37 career games.
