For the third time in four games, a San Diego Charger was named an AFC Player of the Week.
First it was Drew Kaser winning the special teams award for his play in Week 6's win over the Broncos.
Then, it was Denzel Perryman winning the defensive award after a game-changing fourth quarter pick and 4th-and-1 stop in overtime.
On Wednesday, Melvin Gordon was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week after authoring the third most yards from scrimmages (261) in Chargers history.
After practice, Gordon explained while meaningful, his sole focus having an equally impactful game vs. the Dolphins:
*"It's a good feeling, but I don't think about it too much. It's an honor to have it, but I'm on to the next week." *
