Alt, Slater Rank Top 3 Among AFC Tackles in 2nd Pro Bowl Voting Update

Alt Slater Pro Bowl voting

The Chargers tackle tandem ranks among the AFC's best.

The NFL released another voting update for the 2025 Pro Bowl Games on Monday after two weeks of voting, with both Joe Alt and Rashawn Slater among the top 10 overall.

Alt remains No. 1 among tackles in the AFC, and sixth overall in the voting, for a second straight week.

Slater has jumped in at No. 9 overall and third in the AFC.

It's for good reason too, as the duo have been among the best in the AFC in their first year together.

Alt, the Chargers first-round pick, has been stellar so far in his rookie season, with no shortage of high-level opposition on the other side. Alt ranks first among all rookie tackles in Pro Football Focus offense grade (77.4), run blocking (75.4) and leads all rookie offensive lineman in pass blocking grade (76.0).

He's also only allowed 16 total pressures on 434 pass blocking snaps and has continued to not allow more than two pressures in a game in 11 of his 12 games.

Slater, meanwhile, is in the midst of arguably his best season as a pro.

The fourth-year tackle is first among all AFC offensive lineman in PFF's pass blocking grade with a 90.2 and first among AFC tackles with at least 400 snaps with a 91.4 offense grade, both of which would be career-highs for a season.

He's also allowed just 15 total pressures on 423 pass blocking snaps and is currently on pace to have a career low for a season.

Other members of the Bolts remained firm in the second voting return as well.

Linebacker Daiyan Henley remains in the top 10 among inside linebackers at No. 10 overall and fifth in the AFC. He leads the Bolts with 122 total tackles, good for sixth-most in the league, and leads all linebackers in pass breakups (six), according to Pro Football Focus.

Kicker Cameron Dicker was also still in the same ranking, coming in fourth overall and third in the AFC. Dicker added a kick to his tally on Sunday and has now knocked in 28 of his 30 field goals and a stellar eight for nine from over 50 yards.

Finally, the other member of the Chargers that remains in the ranking is fullback Scott Matlock, who has played in all 13 games as the fullback in his first year at the position. He was once again eighth in the voting and fifth in the AFC.

Fans can vote as often as they would like to help determine the 88-man roster and send the league's best players at each position to Orlando for the Pro Bowl Games until Dec. 23 across a variety of platforms, including ProBowl.com/Vote and on the Chargers website.
