A pair of Chargers representatives put together quite the performance at this past weekend's NFL FLAG Championships Presented by Toyota.
Both the Conquer Chargers and the Apex Predators, who represented the Chargers at the event over the weekend, made their respective championship games in Canton, Ohio.
The Conquer Chargers, the Bolts 15u girls flag football team, put together a championship performance all weekend long to win the 15u Girls title on Sunday.
The Conquer Chargers qualified for the tournament after winning their division at the Chargers Regional Tournament earlier in the year and capped it off with a win at the Flag Championships.
The Apex Predators also qualified at the same tournament and had a pair of thrilling wins on the way to the championship game.
Their highlight came in the quarterfinals, which featured a close game that would be settled in overtime.
With the game on the line, the Apex Predators were able to advance to the semifinals after an impressive jump pass that was caught in the back corner of the end zone for the win.
Their run would eventually end in the championship game as they would finish runners-up in the 18u girls side of the bracket.
