The Chargers are 10-6 and going to the playoffs.
The Bolts punched their ticket to the dance after walloping the Patriots by the score of 40-7 on Saturday.
But who could Jim Harabugh's squad play in the Wild Card round?
Here's a breakdown of possible seeding and opponent scenarios for the Bolts:
No. 5 Seed
The path here is clear. The Bolts will be the No. 5 seed if the following happens in Week 18:
The Chargers beat the Raiders and the Steelers lose to the Bengals.
That would mean a playoff road game against the Texans, who won the AFC South and are locked into the fourth spot.
If the Steelers win in Week 18, the Bolts are out of the running for the fifth seed because Pittsburgh holds the tiebreaker based on its head-to-head win back in Week 3.
No. 6 Seed
The No. 6 spot is the lowest seed the Chargers can be.
Because the Broncos lost to Bengals on Saturday, the 10-win Chargers are assured of at least being the sixth seed.
How could things shake out?
If Pittsburgh wins, the Steelers will be at least the No. 5 seed and the Bolts would be the No. 6 seed no matter what the Chargers do in Las Vegas.
If the Bolts end up with the 6th seed, they would likely play the winner of the AFC North. Right now, that would be the Ravens.
But if the Steelers win and the Ravens lose in Week 18, the Chargers would go to Pittsburgh in the Wild Card Round.
No. 7 Seed
The Chargers cannot be the No. 7 seed after the Broncos lost to the Bengals on Saturday.
The Bolts are 10-6 and can't be passed by Denver (9-7) as the Bolts hold the tiebreaker.
Other Wild Card contenders such as the Colts and Dolphins cannot get to 10 wins, meaning the Bolts will at least be the No. 6 seed in the AFC playoffs.
That's good news for the Bolts, as the AFC's No. 7 seed likely has to travel to Buffalo in the Wild Card Round.
