For the eighth time in his career, Philip Rivers earned AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors.
His impressive performance in Week 12's 28-6 Thanksgiving Day victory over the Dallas Cowboys earned him the award.
In the Pro Bowl performance, Rivers threw for 434 yards and was 27-for-33 passing with three touchdowns. It marked the second time in his career that he threw for over 400 yards with three TDs and no interceptions. He finished the game with a 149.1 rating and an 81.8 completion percentage. The 149.1 rating is the second-best by a QB this season, and the third-best rating of Rivers' career.
