Philip Rivers had another stellar performance this past Sunday and is nominated for the **FedEx Air Player of the Week**.
Rivers' performance in the 33-30 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers was indicative of his **Pro Bowl-worthy season** as he finished the game 26-of-36 for 299 yards and two touchdowns.
With his two TDs, he became the fourth-ever quarterback to record multiple touchdown passes in each of the first 12 games to start a season. Dating back to 2017, it extended his team-record streak of multi-touchdown games to 13 contests, tying for the second-longest streak in NFL history. He also extended his league-leading streak of games with a TD pass to 25.
This marks the second time Rivers has been nominated for this honor this season. He faces stiff competition in Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes and Patriots QB Tom Brady.
Voting is open until Thursday at 12:00 p.m. PT and fans can also vote on Twitter and Facebook using the NFL published polls.
