3 Impressive Chargers Stats Ahead of Week 12

Chargers rookie Joe Alt posted the best Pro Football Focus grade for an AFC tackle on Sunday

The Bolts are 7-3 and have turned their attention to Monday night against the Ravens.

Here are three key Chargers stats ahead of Week 12:

1. Joe Alt is a stud

Add another accolade to Joe Alt's strong rookie season.

The Chargers rookie right tackle posted an overall Pro Football Focus grade of 84.1 in Week 12, which was the highest mark for an AFC tackle and the third-best grade across the league.

According to PFF, Alt allowed just one pressure on 42 pass-blocking snaps against the Bengals.

Alt's performance in primetime highlighted an impressive rookie season in which the No. 5 overall pick ranks 12th with a PFF grade 78.4 among all NFL tackles who have played 400 snaps.

2. Henley's workload

Daiyan Henley was a machine Sunday night by playing all 82 defensive snaps, a feat he shared with Derwin James, Jr.

Henley, if you recall, played just 53 total defensive snaps as a rookie in 2023. He leads the Chargers defense with 574 snaps this season and has logged at least 40 snaps in each game so far this season.

Henley also leads the Bolts with 94 total tackles, including 59 solo stops. For context, Derwin James, Jr. is second on the team with 59 total tackles.

Henley has notched four straight games with double-digit tackles.

3. A historic TD:INT ratio

Justin Herbert continues to thrive through the air ... all while not turning the ball over with interceptions.

The Bolts quarterback tossed a pair of touchdowns Sunday night to bring his total to 13 on the season. Herbert also didn't throw an interception — something he hasn't done since Week 2 — which also happened to be his lone pick of the season.

Herbert's current 13-1 TD:INT ratio not only leads the NFL this season but is also tied for the No. 3 single-season ratio for a quarterback in NFL history.

Tom Brady (14-1 ratio) set the record in 2016 with 28 touchdowns and just two interceptions. That bested Nick Foles' 2013 season in which he tossed 27 touchdowns and just two picks for a 13.5-1 ratio.

Herbert, by the way, has set a new Bolts franchise record with 246 straight passes without an interception.
