The Chargers are 1-0 after notching a 22-10 win over the Raiders in Week 1.

First Quarter
Justin Herbert, Derwin James, Denzel Perryman, Khalil Mack, Rashawn Slater and Bradley Bozeman were the Chargers captains. The Raiders won the toss and elected to defer as the Bolts started on offense at the 36-yard line after Derius Davis had a 35-yard kickoff return. The Bolts advanced past midfield but were eventually forced to punt after Herbert was sacked on third down. The Raiders went three-and-out after the Bolts defense stuffed back-to-back run plays. The Bolts offense then went three-and-out.
The Raiders faced fourth-and-1 at their own 41-yard line on the ensuing drive but a run was stopped by Poona Ford for a tackle for loss. The Bolts took advantage of the solid field position with points as Cameron Dicker hit a 53-yard field goal for an early 3-0 lead. The Raiders picked up a pair of third-down conversions through the air before scoring on a 31-yard pass play. The Bolts trailed 7-3 at the end of the first quarter.

Second Quarter
The Bolts punted for the third time in four possessions early in the second quarter as they continued to be hampered by penalties. The Raiders offense then went three-and-out as the Chargers took over on their own 31-yard line. The Bolts moved the chains on their first play but a fifth offensive penalty of the half led to another punt. But the Chargers pass rush came to life as Khalil Mack and Morgan Fox split a sack before Joey Bosa recorded one of his own to force a Las Vegas punt.
The Bolts sluggish offensive start continued as they went three-and-out for the third time in the half. The Chargers then caught a break when Minshew's pass went backwards as Mack recovered the fumble and returned it to the Raiders 12.
But the Bolts could only manage a field goal as Joshua Palmer dropped a touchdown on second down. Dicker's 25-yard field goal cut the deficit to 7-6, which was the halftime score.
Third Quarter
The Bolts defense forced a three-and-out to open the half. The Chargers picked up a first down through the air before J.K. Dobbins ripped off a 46-yard run on third-and-1 to get Bolts inside the 10-yard line. But the Bolts couldn't find the end zone and settled for a 24-yard field goal that gave the Chargers a 9-7 lead. The Bolts then forced their second takeaway of the game as Bosa hustled to force a fumble that was recovered by Ja'Sir Taylor.
The Chargers offense couldn't take advantage of the takeaway as the Bolts went three-and-out and punted it away. The Raiders moved into scoring position by pushed a 49-yard field goal wide right as the Bolts kept their 9-7 lead. Herbert found Hayden Hurst for 27 yards on the first play of the ensuing drive to get into Raiders territory. The Bolts moved the chains again as Herbert found Palmer for 11 yards on third-and-9. Gus Edwards ended the quarter with a 10-yard run as the Chargers were at the 12-yard line.
Fourth Quarter
Dobbins scored the Bolts first touchdown on a 12-yard run on the opening play of the fourth quarter. Dicker's extra point gave the Chargers a 16-7 lead.
The Raiders hit on a 33-yard pass play that helped lead to a short field goal as the cut into the Chargers lead. Up 16-10, the Bolts began on their own 30-yard line but went three-and-out and punted as the Raiders began near midfield. But the Chargers defense forced another punt as the Raiders kicked it away on fourth-and-1 at the Bolts 43-yard line. The Bolts picked up a first down on the ground before Dobbins ripped off a 61-yard run that put the Chargers offense into the red zone.
The Chargers found the end zone as Herbert connected with Ladd McCinkey on a 10-yard touchdown pass. The rookie wide receiver juked a pair of Raiders to waltz in for his first NFL touchdown.
The ensuing 2-point play was no good as the Chargers lead 22-10 late in the fourth quarter. Poona Ford capped off a great debut with an interception that iced the 22-10 win. The Chargers are in Carolina in Week 2.
