Philip Rivers is no stranger to accolades and awards.
On Thursday, number 17 earned his first hardware of the 2016 season when he was voted the FedEx Air Player of Week 2.
Upon learning of the award, Rivers reacted in typical Rivers fashion:
"It takes all of us to throw it. Guys have got to be on the other end to catch it, and guys up front have to be able to block. Last week was one of those games where we really got to pound the ball, and had to just be efficient in the passing game and make a few big plays. Everybody played their part."
