Saturday marks the first time the Bolts will take to the field for the 2016 preseason.
Rivers knows he and the first-team offense won't see too much action, but the signal caller shared his goals for what he would like to accomplish against the Titans.
*"We just want to get out there and be sharp. No pre-snap penalties. You want to score touchdowns but (we need to) be crisp. To me, the preseason is the most over-analyzed (due to the) 10 or however many plays (we run). In a real game, you're going to have 50 plays or more. If these plays on Saturday are really good, that doesn't mean we're an awesome team yet. If we're terrible, that doesn't mean we're not going to be awesome! It gets overanalyzed because of the small sample size… We just want to be sharp and not overreact to whatever happens (with) the outcome." *
