Photos: Chargers Host Dia De Los Muertos themed Fútbol Americano 101 Jr. Chargers Training Camp

The Los Angeles Chargers teamed up with California Resources Corporation, After-School All-Stars, Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Unified School District to host a special Dia De Los Muertos/Halloween-themed Futbol Americano 101 training camp for students at William Mulholland Middle School. Former Chargers cornerback Antione Cason and the Charger Girls attended our event teaching kids NFL-style drills & encouraging them to be healthy & active! Following the skills training, the kids participated in Dia de los Muertos arts and crafts such as skull painting, flower making and face painting!

Special thanks to LAUSD School Board Member, Scott Schmerelson and his Deputy Director for Community Engagement, Robert Jackson,Scott Abrams, District Director from the Office of Congressmember Brad Sherman, Representative Caroline Menjivar from the Office of Mayor Garcetti's East Valley Area, Lauren Padick, Field Deputy from the from the Office of Los Angeles City Councilmember Nury Martinez, and finally to the LAPD Officers Bocanegra and Scoggins, for stopping by and motivating our youth.
