In honor of Black History Month, Bolt Academy alumni had the opportunity to visit the African American Firefighter Museum in Los Angeles. Throughout the visit, the students learned from former Fire Captain's on the history of African American Firefighters in the city and capped the visit with a tour of Station 94 in Crenshaw to see and learn from active Firefighters.

John Muir High School, one of the schools most impacted by the Eaton Fire, had the opportunity to visit the Chargers' facility. The students received a tour of the state-of-the-art training grounds and were given new workout gear, gloves, bags, shoes, and cleats. They also had the chance to meet Chargers General Manager Joe Hortiz and hear words of encouragement from Head Coach Jim Harbaugh. To further support the school's recovery, the program received a sizable financial contribution from the Chargers Impact Fund to help purchase both short-term and long-term necessities for their programs rebuild.

The Chargers, in collaboration with Ducommun and UC Irvine, hosted the 7^th annual "STEM on the Sidelines" competition at The Bolt in December. The engineering competition, presented by Ducommun, challenged 20 high school teams across Los Angeles and Orange County to build devices that tested their speed and agility. University High School from Irvine, CA was the winner of the competition.

The Chargers visited the Red Cross Emergency Shelter at the Pasadena Civic Center, one of three shelters for Los Angeles communities impacted by the wildfires that engulfed Los Angeles County. During the visit, Chargers S Derwin James, Jr., DL Morgan Fox and WR DJ Chark handed out snacks and served meals to displaced residents.

Linebacker, Denzel Perryman, visited patients at UCLA Santa Monica Medical Center to hand out some Chargers gear to patients and staff.

The Chargers hosted the Palisades High School football program at The Bolt. Upon arrival, the Pali High student-athletes all received Chargers practice gear and headed to the weight room for an NFL-caliber training session with Coach Ben Herbert. Following the workout, the Chargers shared with the Pali coaches and players that the organization will be making a significant financial commitment to help their football program get back on its feet and replace what was lost in the wildfires.

Chargers wide receiver Josh Palmer visited Canadian Firefighters who are currently battling the Eaton Fire in the Pasadena area.

Chargers wide receiver Josh Palmer and cornerback Kristian Fulton participated in an essentials distribution event for fire victims.

The Chargers Impact Fund partnered with the Bikes for Kids Foundation, Pechanga Resort Casino and the Brady Hunter Foundation to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Chargers' holiday bike giveaway. Chargers Legends Terry Crews, Marcellus Wiley, Mike Scifres, Antoine Cason and Sean Culkin were on hand to surprise 400 students at Dr. Ronald E. McNair Elementary School in Compton with a brand new bike.

Over the weekend, the Chargers Impact Fund teamed up with The Brady Hunter Foundation and over 50 volunteers to build 400 bikes. The volunteers were joined by Chargers General Manager, Joe Hortiz and Assistant Manager, Chad Alexander who were on hand to build bikes for the entire student body at Dr. Ronald E. McNair Elementary School in Compton. All the bikes were built for the 20th Anniversary of the annual Bikes for Kids event.

The Chargers hosted their second annual "Beyond the Game" event on Dec. 2, which was held in the Chargers home locker room at the stadium. The event, which was presented by Tillys, represented a collaborative effort between the Chargers, Tillys, and Tilly's Life Center. After the groups arrived to the stadium, the event began with a panel discussion on adolescent mental wellness that featured Chargers linebacker Daiyan Henley, along with Hightower, Chris Reed from the Center for Healing and Justice Through Sport, and Eric Kenneth, a teacher and former student of Tilly's Life Center. Reed then led attendees through a series of trust and team building initiatives followed by a wrap-up dinner.

The Chargers decades-long commitment to honoring and supporting our country's military heroes, past and present, continued as the organization expressed its gratitude for the sacrifices of active-duty service members, veterans and their families during its annual Salute to Service game against the Tennessee Titans in Week 10, 2024
