Chargers Host Breathwork Practice for UCLA Health Cancer Patients and Survivors at The Bolt

The Los Angeles Chargers hosted a special, hour-long breathwork session on the field at The Bolt for UCLA Health Jonnson Comprehensive Cancer Center patients and survivors. Participants had the opportunity to engage in mindful and relaxing breathwork with Chargers K Cameron Dicker, WR Brenden Rice, and Sarah Harbaugh, wife of Head Coach Jim Harbaugh. This event helped foster a sense of community, relaxation, and self-care for participants, while celebrating their strength and resilience.

Chargers Kick Off Snoop & Housh Flag League Fall Season

The Snoop & Housh Flag League, created by the Chargers Impact Fund in partnership with Snoop Dogg and TJ Houshmandzadeh, celebrated its Opening Day this past weekend. Open to boys and girls from kindergarten through 8th grade, the league serves youth from across the Los Angeles area, with locations in El Segundo and Cerritos. The event marked the official start of the league's second season, featuring t-shirt giveaways, performances by the Thunderbolts drumline, and appearances by TJ Houshmandzadeh at both locations.

Chargers Host 2nd Annual Girls Flag Invitational Tournament Presented by Oakley

The Chargers and Oakley hosted their 2nd Annual Girls Flag Football Invitational Tournament, featuring 16 of the top teams and 350 athletes from across Southern California. The two-day tournament served as an opening weekend celebration for the start of the girls' flag football season, now entering its 2nd officially sanctioned season in California. The tournament crowned two division champions: Esperanza High School took home the banner for the Gold Division, while Orange Lutheran High School won the Powder Division.

Chargers Invite the Friendship Foundation Youth To Meet Team Before Training Camp

The Chargers hosted a group of youth from the nonprofit Friendship Foundation for a special high five tunnel to welcome the team to Training Camp practice. The Friendship Foundation supports families and children or young people with special needs and has been supporting the South Bay for over 17 years. All the youth invited got to meet the players, Coach Jim Harbaugh and watch practice.

Chargers 4th Annual Nike 11ON Event

The Chargers, in partnership with Nike, hosted their 4th Annual 11ON event for 28 of the top high school girls' flag and tackle football programs from across Southern California. During this two-day event, over 750 athletes, their coaches, and families attended the Hoag Performance Center, where the teams competed in individual and team competitions to crown a champion for each day.

Chargers Host Flag Football Clinic at Camp Pendleton

Before the Chargers' team practice at Camp Pendleton, the team hosted a free clinic for children of military personnel. Chargers legend Corey Liuget was on hand as the event welcomed 150 boys and girls ages 5-14 and focused on teaching the fundamentals of flag football.

Chargers Launch Inaugural Bolts on the Beach Tournament

The Chargers, in partnership with Females in Flag Orange County and Beach City Sports, hosted their Inaugural Bolts on the Beach flag football tournament in Huntington Beach. The tournament welcomed 24 girls' flag football teams and 250 athletes from across Southern California. At the end of the day, champions were crowned in the 10U, 13U, 15U, and 17U divisions.

Chargers Quentin Johnston & Scott Matlock Help Celebrate Snoop & Housh League Championship Weekend

The Chargers hosted the Snoop & Housh Flag Football League Championship games this past Friday night. The league, which had 500 participants during its inaugural spring season, hosted championship games at both Cerritos and El Segundo. Chargers Quentin Johnston and Scott Matlock were in attendance to help bring the final games to a close and celebrate the league's first season.

Chargers and Verizon Distribute 1,000 meals to students at Grape Street Elementary

The Bolts partnered with the nonprofit Blessings in a Backpack and Verizon to distribute 1,000 bags of food to Grape Street Elementary School students. Chargers Running Back Elijah Dotson joined Verizon to speak with the students at a special assembly and was on hand to personally deliver the meals.

Chargers Celebrate Lemonade Day in Hermosa Beach

The Los Angeles Chargers joined the South Bay community to celebrate and sponsor Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce's Second Annual Lemonade Day. Lemonade Day is a free, fun, experiential learning program that teaches young students how to start, own and operate their own business – a lemonade stand. The Bolts supported the event with player appearances from offensive linemen, Foster Sarrell and Trey Pipkins Jr., as well as hosting a lemonade stand selling "Lightning Lemonade" with all proceeds benefitting local El Segundo nonprofit, The Friendship Foundation.

LA's Youth Development Department Unveils Beautified Recycling Bins in Finale of Sustainability Program with the Chargers and Ball Corporation

The City of Los Angeles' Youth Development Department (YDD) revealed eye-catching recycling bins at City Hall during the April 19th City Council meeting, marking the finale of the Chargers' sustainability program sponsored by Ball Corporation. After final presentations in December, the winning team received funding from Ball Corporation to implement their project geared toward promoting and educating the community on aluminum recycling and sustainability practices.
