Chargers Kick Off Snoop & Housh Flag League Fall Season

The Snoop & Housh Flag League, created by the Chargers Impact Fund in partnership with Snoop Dogg and TJ Houshmandzadeh, celebrated its Opening Day this past weekend. Open to boys and girls from kindergarten through 8th grade, the league serves youth from across the Los Angeles area, with locations in El Segundo and Cerritos. The event marked the official start of the league's second season, featuring t-shirt giveaways, performances by the Thunderbolts drumline, and appearances by TJ Houshmandzadeh at both locations.

Elementary School Students Surprised with New Bikes from the Chargers Impact Fund, Pechanga Resort Casino, and the Brady Hunter Foundation!

The Chargers Impact Fund partnered with the Bikes for Kids Foundation, Pechanga Resort Casino and the Brady Hunter Foundation to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Chargers' holiday bike giveaway. Chargers Team Up With the Brady Hunter Foundation to Build 400 Bikes

Over the weekend, the Chargers Impact Fund teamed up with The Brady Hunter Foundation and over 50 volunteers to build 400 bikes. The volunteers were joined by Chargers General Manager, Joe Hortiz and Assistant Manager, Chad Alexander who were on hand to build bikes for the entire student body at Dr. Ronald E. McNair Elementary School in Compton. All the bikes were built for the 20th Anniversary of the annual Bikes for Kids event.

Chargers, Tillys Host 2nd Annual 'Beyond the Game' Event

The Chargers hosted their second annual "Beyond the Game" event on Dec. 2, which was held in the Chargers home locker room at the stadium. The event, which was presented by Tillys, represented a collaborative effort between the Chargers, Tillys, and Tilly's Life Center. After the groups arrived to the stadium, the event began with a panel discussion on adolescent mental wellness that featured Chargers linebacker Daiyan Henley, along with Hightower, Chris Reed from the Center for Healing and Justice Through Sport, and Eric Kenneth, a teacher and former student of Tilly's Life Center. Reed then led attendees through a series of trust and team building initiatives followed by a wrap-up dinner.

Chargers Host "Battle of the Bases" Flag Football Tournament for Members of Local Military Bases

On Saturday, November 2nd, the Los Angeles Chargers welcomed active military personnel from across Southern California to their training facility for the Battle of the Bases flag football tournament. In a spirited day of friendly competition, teams representing the Marines from Camp Pendleton, Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, the Air Force from Edwards Air Force Base, and the Coast Guard clashed in an exciting display of camaraderie, athleticism, and honor. Ultimately, Marines Camp Pendleton's took home the championship title.

The Bolts partnered with Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation and Walk With Sally to host the 7th Annual Boo at the Bolt Halloween event for children and families impacted by cancer. Chargers & Verizon Team Up to Help Women Veterans in Long Beach

The Bolts and many volunteers gathered at U.S. Vets Long Beach this past Sunday as part of their Salute to Service outreach in community. Sunday's event featured a beautification event for the Bridge Housing Women's (BHW) Program, which is on-site at the location. The Los Angeles Chargers hosted a special, hour-long breathwork session on the field at The Bolt for UCLA Health Jonnson Comprehensive Cancer Center patients and survivors. Participants had the opportunity to engage in mindful and relaxing breathwork with Chargers K Cameron Dicker, WR Brenden Rice, and Sarah Harbaugh, wife of Head Coach Jim Harbaugh. This event helped foster a sense of community, relaxation, and self-care for participants, while celebrating their strength and resilience.

Chargers Host 2nd Annual Girls Flag Invitational Tournament Presented by Oakley

The Chargers and Oakley hosted their 2nd Annual Girls Flag Football Invitational Tournament, featuring 16 of the top teams and 350 athletes from across Southern California. The two-day tournament served as an opening weekend celebration for the start of the girls' flag football season, now entering its 2nd officially sanctioned season in California. The tournament crowned two division champions: Esperanza High School took home the banner for the Gold Division, while Orange Lutheran High School won the Powder Division.

Chargers Invite the Friendship Foundation Youth To Meet Team Before Training Camp

The Chargers hosted a group of youth from the nonprofit Friendship Foundation for a special high five tunnel to welcome the team to Training Camp practice. The Friendship Foundation supports families and children or young people with special needs and has been supporting the South Bay for over 17 years. All the youth invited got to meet the players, Coach Jim Harbaugh and watch practice.
