Remembering Fred Dean

Former Chargers defensive end Fred Dean passed away Wednesday at the age of 68. He played for the Chargers from 1975-1981 and then the 49ers from 1981-1985. He was known for his speed, strength and quickness.

Chargers Bolt Academy Visit African American Firefighter Museum

In honor of Black History Month, Bolt Academy alumni had the opportunity to visit the African American Firefighter Museum in Los Angeles. Throughout the visit, the students learned from former Fire Captain's on the history of African American Firefighters in the city and capped the visit with a tour of Station 94 in Crenshaw to see and learn from active Firefighters.

Chargers Sign Elijah Molden to Multi-Year Extension

The Los Angeles Chargers signed defensive back Elijah Molden to a multi-year contract extension. Molden has recorded 215 career tackles and 5 interceptions. In the 2024 season, he played in 15 games.
