Ryan Rowland enters his seventh season with the Los Angeles Chargers and his sixth as the Head Groundskeeper for the organization. Rowland came to the Chargers from the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum where he worked with the Los Angeles Rams and USC.
Rowland is entering his 18th year in the turf management industry. He has also worked with the Washington Redskins (2006-07), Washington Nationals (2007-09), Minnesota Twins (2010-16) and 10 years in the golf industry.
Rowland earned his degree in turfgrass management in 2004 from Iowa State University.
Rowland and his wife Yuki were married in 2014 in Sapporo, Japan. Rowland enjoys golf and fishing and time on the lake. Â The couple currently resides in Redondo Beach.
