The Chargers hosted their second annual "Beyond the Game" event on Dec. 2, which was held in the Chargers home locker room at the stadium. The event, which was presented by Tillys, represented a collaborative effort between the Chargers, Tillys, and Tilly's Life Center. After the groups arrived to the stadium, the event began with a panel discussion on adolescent mental wellness that featured Chargers linebacker Daiyan Henley, along with Hightower, Chris Reed from the Center for Healing and Justice Through Sport, and Eric Kenneth, a teacher and former student of Tilly's Life Center. Reed then led attendees through a series of trust and team building initiatives followed by a wrap-up dinner.

The Chargers decades-long commitment to honoring and supporting our country's military heroes, past and present, continued as the organization expressed its gratitude for the sacrifices of active-duty service members, veterans and their families during its annual Salute to Service game against the Tennessee Titans in Week 10, 2024

LB Denzel Perryman, OL Trey Pipkins III, former Chargers outside linebacker Larry English and many volunteers gathered at U.S. Vets Long Beach as part of their Salute to Service outreach in community. This event featured a beautification event for the Bridge Housing Women's (BHW) Program, which is on-site at the location. The program serves the unique needs of women transitioning out of homelessness and empowers veteran women on their journey towards stability and independence.

The Chargers and Oakley hosted their 2nd Annual Girls Flag Football Invitational Tournament, featuring 16 of the top teams and 350 athletes from across Southern California. The two-day tournament served as an opening weekend celebration for the start of the girls' flag football season, now entering its 2nd officially sanctioned season in California. The tournament crowned two division champions: Esperanza High School took home the banner for the Gold Division, while Orange Lutheran High School won the Powder Division.

The Los Angeles Chargers joined the South Bay community to celebrate and sponsor Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce's Second Annual Lemonade Day. Lemonade Day is a free, fun, experiential learning program that teaches young students how to start, own and operate their own business – a lemonade stand. The Bolts supported the event with player appearances from offensive linemen, Foster Sarrell and Trey Pipkins Jr., as well as hosting a lemonade stand selling "Lightning Lemonade" with all proceeds benefitting local El Segundo nonprofit, The Friendship Foundation.

Ball Corporation and the Chargers recently partnered with the City of Los Angeles' Youth Development Department (YDD) to create a program that focuses on educating youth and promoting recycling practices in Los Angeles. The students were asked to create an event or campaign that promotes and educates the community on aluminum recycling and sustainability practices.

The Chargers, in collaboration with Ducommun, Inc. and UC Irvine, hosted the 6th annual "STEM on the Sidelines," an engineering challenge for high school students in Southern California. Students designed and built their own football-launching robots to square off in a competition at SoFi Stadium in December. Presented by Ducommun, Inc.

The Chargers continued a 19-year tradition by partnering with Bikes for Kids and Pechanga to surprise second and third-graders at Sunrise Elementary School in Boyle Heights with brand new bikes. Former Chargers players Larry English, Kassim Osgood, and recently inducted Chargers Hall of Fame tight end Antonio Gates surprised 100-plus children with the bicycles.

The Chargers Impact Fund teamed up with Blessings in a Backpack to help feed youth in LA. Donations to this program can help feed students for an entire school year. More info can be found at chargers.com/feedingthefuture

This Thanksgiving season, the Chargers take a look back at this season's most impactful moments within its community outreach and reflect on its mission to give back and to give thanks.

Recently the Chargers hosted Ball Corp and Los Angeles' Youth Development Department at SoFi Stadium. The students of the Youth Development Department had the great opportunity to network and see the stadium's recycling processes as well as challenged to develop new recycling processes for the city of Los Angeles.

The Chargers partnered up with Oakley to put on the first annual girl's flag football playoff tournament and invited twenty of the best girl's flag football teams in Southern California. Watch as safety Derwin James, Jr. watches the girls in action and talks about why it's important that the Chargers be the leaders in growing the game, and as wide receivers Quentin Johnston and Derius Davis present the trophy to the winners of the tournament.

Recently the Chargers hosted our annual trunk-or-treat for the Pediatric Cancer Research Foundation at Hoag Performance Center. Players, patients, and their families were taken through a safari extravaganza with candy at every stop! Afterwards, all guests were able to enjoy a night full of bingo, puppies, face-painting, balloon animals, chatting with players, and more!

The Chargers and Hoag Cancer Institute partnered to host a breathwork and meditation class for breast cancer patients, survivors and their loved ones. Joined by players Derwin James Jr. and Nick Niemann, the group was welcomed to Hoag Performance Center to enjoy a morning of relaxation and mindfulness leading up to the team's annual Crucial Catch game.

The Chargers visited California Medical Facility to observe Chargers Pup, River, in training and meet with prison administration and Paws for Life K9 Rescue dog trainers. Beginning in 2020, the Chargers Pup program has followed a service animal in training to highlight the importance of these dogs for people with disabilities. River is specifically being trained to become a service animal for a military Veteran with PTSD and will be the face of the team's animal welfare work this season.

Recently the Chargers celebrated our graduates of the Bolt Academy, an innovative career training and leadership program. The graduates had the great opportunity to see what it means to work for the Chargers on game days thanks to partnerships with the Chargers Impact Fund, Brotherhood Crusade, Inglewood Unified School District, and SoFi.

Chargers players Sebastian Joseph-Day, JT Woods, Ja'Sir Taylor, and more spent the morning packing lunches for 122nd Street Elementary School kids in South LA to launch the Chargers Community Hunger and Relief program. Watch as Sebastian Joseph-Day presents 750 kids with their take home lunch bags and signs autographs for young Chargers fans.

The Chargers held their third annual Nike 11-On event at Hoag Performance Center, in which boys and girls prep football programs from all over southern California came together to compete in challenges, go through drills, and receive guidance from renowned coaches, players, and special guest quarterback Easton Stick.

Chargers stars including Justin Herbert and Derwin James, Jr., legends including LaDainian Tomlinson, and many more gathered at Rolling Hills Country Club for the 4th Annual Chargers Invitational benefitting the Los Angeles Chargers Impact Fund.

The Chargers celebrated the start of San Diego Unified School District's middle school flag football season by welcoming nearly 200 students for a skills and drills camp, with Chargers legend Corey Liuget on hand to support the kids.

In partnership with Gilead Sciences, the Chargers hosted a sports medicine symposium to give local high school students interested in sports medicine and athletic training an opportunity to meet with professionals and learn more about the field, as well as get a tour of the team facility led by offensive guard Zion Johnson. The Chargers unveiled a newly-renovated play yard at the East Valley Animal Shelter in Van Nuys, allowing dogs at the shelter the opportunity to play together outside their kennels and meet prospective adopters.
