The NFL's International Fan of the Year contest is back.

The Chargers and the National Football League have announced that the application process has opened for the second annual International Fan of the Year contest.

In collaboration with all 32 teams, the International Fan of the Year contest is looking to celebrate extraordinary fans who inspire others with their passion for the game and have been a rallying force across their family, friends and local community through fandom.

Chargers fans can nominate themselves through this link for a chance to win a trip to the 2025 NFL Draft in Green Bay, Wisconsin and to possibly be announced as the ultimate Fan of the Year at the event.

After last year's inaugural contest, which garnered over 11,200 nominations, there are nine eligible international markets for the contest, with three additions of Brazil, Spain and Ireland, allowing for a diverse number of fans from around the world to put themselves forward.

Last year, the Chargers International Fan of the Year was Stephen Ruane for representing the Bolts all the way from Melbourne, Australia.

Ruane got to participate in events at the 2024 NFL Draft in Detroit as well as have the opportunity to announce the Bolts fourth-round draft selection on stage.

The nomination window is now open at NFL.com/FanOfTheYear and fans can nominate themselves to be selected as their club's International Fan of the Year from now until November 15, 2024, at 8:59 p.m. (PT).

From there, each of the 32 clubs will select one fan to best represent them, using their local resources to surprise and the delight winners and their storylines and backgrounds are then shared across NFL-owned and club media.

All 32 international nominees will be announced on Feb. 24, 2025.
