The Chargers Impact Fund joined Lulu's Place and TGR Foundation to announce a landmark gift establishing the Alex & Faye Spanos Legacy Field and launching a partnership to provide youth football and career-readiness programming at the Lulu's Place campus. Leaders emphasized the importance of opportunity, mentorship, and continuing a legacy of giving back to empower young people across Los Angeles.

The Chargers Impact Fund, in partnership with RIZE Federal Credit Union, hosted 20 Bolt Academy Scholars for an engaging financial literacy event at The Bolt. During the experience, Scholars were challenged with real-life scenarios—complete with careers, income, debt, and family responsibilities—designed to help them practice smart decision-making and learn how to successfully manage expenses along the way.

In partnership with UCLA Health, the Chargers hosted Lucca and his family for a once-in-a-lifetime experience at The Bolt. They received exclusive behind-the-scenes access, including one-on-one time with players and coaches.

The Chargers and Nike continued their longstanding partnership to expand access and inclusion in football through girls flag initiatives. Over the past year, the organizations hosted camps for middle school athletes, creating opportunities for young players to learn the game, build confidence, and connect with role models in the sport. Participants received on-field instruction from high school athletes alongside Chargers defensive back Benjamin St-Juste, reinforcing the importance of mentorship and peer leadership in growing the game.The programming also included a special event at the Chargers' facility, The Bolt, where participants took part in drills led by tight end Oronde Gadsden. The day concluded with a discussion featuring women leaders from across the sports industry who are part of the Chargers Social Club, providing the athletes with insight into career opportunities in sports and inspiring them both on and off the field.

The 8th annual "STEM on the Sidelines" competition, presented by Ducommun Inc., was held at SoFi Stadium in November. The engineering competition, with support from UC Irvine, challenged over 20 high school teams across Los Angeles and Orange County to build devices that tested their speed and agility. Santiago High School was the winner of this years competition.

Chargers Champions celebrates its 25th anniversary as a legacy program in San Diego, continuing its commitment to supporting youth health and wellness through responsive grantmaking. Since its inception, the program has provided more than $6 million in grants to local schools, helping fund new and refurbished health and physical fitness facilities and positively impacting more than 160 schools across the San Diego area.

In partnership with UCLA Health, the Chargers hosted two UCLA Health Patients for once-in-a-lifetime experiences at training camp. Jacob and Brennon were given unique behind-the-scenes opportunities at The Bolt including one-on-one time with Chargers players and coaches.

The Chargers celebrated Women in Sports Day during training camp, empowering fans and celebrating women's roles in the sports industry. The event included The Future Is Female Panel, giveaways and community empowerment from brands like TOGETHXR, UCLA, the LA Sparks, and Angel City FC, player interactions with girls' youth flag football players, and a women's flag football coaching clinic.

The Chargers hosted the team's annual Doggy Draft pet adoption event at Santa Monica's DOG PPL Club to continue supporting local animal shelters affected by the LA wildfires. Twenty-five adoptable dogs from Pasadena Humane, LA Animal Services, and LA County Animal Care & Control were onsite, with all adoption fees covered courtesy of Spruce.

In celebration of Women's History Month, the Chargers and Nike hosted four girls' flag football camps in partnership with Pasadena Unified School District. Chargers tight end Will Dissly joined the events, which were held on the campuses of Blair and Marshall Fundamental, and featured girls in 6th-8th grade. The camps were designed to inspire the next generation of female flag athletes while also bringing some joy to a community heavily impacted by the LA Wildfires.

In partnership with Nike, the Chargers hosted the championship teams from the winter season of the Snoop & Housh Flag League. Championship teams from both the El Camino College and Cerritos locations were welcomed by Chargers wide receiver Brenden Rice. The players, coaches, and their families were given a tour of The Bolt and received customized Nike x Snoop & Housh backpacks.

The Snoop & Housh Flag League, created by the Chargers Impact Fund in partnership with Snoop Dogg and TJ Houshmandzadeh, was created to provide the youth across the Los Angeles area an opportunity to have access to the sport where they can have fun and compete and learn more about the game of football.

The Chargers hosted the Palisades High School football program at The Bolt. Upon arrival, the Pali High student-athletes all received Chargers practice gear and headed to the weight room for an NFL-caliber training session with Coach Ben Herbert. Following the workout, the Chargers shared with the Pali coaches and players that the organization will be making a significant financial commitment to help their football program get back on its feet and replace what was lost in the wildfires.

The Chargers Impact Fund partnered with the Bikes for Kids Foundation, Pechanga Resort Casino and the Brady Hunter Foundation to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Chargers' holiday bike giveaway. Chargers Legends Terry Crews, Marcellus Wiley, Mike Scifres, Antoine Cason and Sean Culkin were on hand to surprise 400 students at Dr. Ronald E. McNair Elementary School in Compton with a brand new bike.

The Chargers, in collaboration with Ducommun, Inc. and UC Irvine, hosted the 7th annual "STEM on the Sidelines," an engineering challenge for high school students in Southern California. Presented by Ducommun, Inc.

The Chargers hosted their second annual "Beyond the Game" event on Dec. 2, which was held in the Chargers home locker room at the stadium. The event, which was presented by Tillys, represented a collaborative effort between the Chargers, Tillys, and Tilly's Life Center. After the groups arrived to the stadium, the event began with a panel discussion on adolescent mental wellness that featured Chargers linebacker Daiyan Henley, along with Hightower, Chris Reed from the Center for Healing and Justice Through Sport, and Eric Kenneth, a teacher and former student of Tilly's Life Center. Reed then led attendees through a series of trust and team building initiatives followed by a wrap-up dinner.

The Chargers decades-long commitment to honoring and supporting our country's military heroes, past and present, continued as the organization expressed its gratitude for the sacrifices of active-duty service members, veterans and their families during its annual Salute to Service game against the Tennessee Titans in Week 10, 2024

LB Denzel Perryman, OL Trey Pipkins III, former Chargers outside linebacker Larry English and many volunteers gathered at U.S. Vets Long Beach as part of their Salute to Service outreach in community. This event featured a beautification event for the Bridge Housing Women's (BHW) Program, which is on-site at the location. The program serves the unique needs of women transitioning out of homelessness and empowers veteran women on their journey towards stability and independence.

The Chargers and Oakley hosted their 2nd Annual Girls Flag Football Invitational Tournament, featuring 16 of the top teams and 350 athletes from across Southern California. The two-day tournament served as an opening weekend celebration for the start of the girls' flag football season, now entering its 2nd officially sanctioned season in California. The tournament crowned two division champions: Esperanza High School took home the banner for the Gold Division, while Orange Lutheran High School won the Powder Division.

The Los Angeles Chargers joined the South Bay community to celebrate and sponsor Hermosa Beach Chamber of Commerce's Second Annual Lemonade Day. Lemonade Day is a free, fun, experiential learning program that teaches young students how to start, own and operate their own business – a lemonade stand. The Bolts supported the event with player appearances from offensive linemen, Foster Sarrell and Trey Pipkins Jr., as well as hosting a lemonade stand selling "Lightning Lemonade" with all proceeds benefitting local El Segundo nonprofit, The Friendship Foundation.

Ball Corporation and the Chargers recently partnered with the City of Los Angeles' Youth Development Department (YDD) to create a program that focuses on educating youth and promoting recycling practices in Los Angeles. The students were asked to create an event or campaign that promotes and educates the community on aluminum recycling and sustainability practices.

The Chargers, in collaboration with Ducommun, Inc. and UC Irvine, hosted the 6th annual "STEM on the Sidelines," an engineering challenge for high school students in Southern California. Students designed and built their own football-launching robots to square off in a competition at SoFi Stadium in December. Presented by Ducommun, Inc.

The Chargers continued a 19-year tradition by partnering with Bikes for Kids and Pechanga to surprise second and third-graders at Sunrise Elementary School in Boyle Heights with brand new bikes. Former Chargers players Larry English, Kassim Osgood, and recently inducted Chargers Hall of Fame tight end Antonio Gates surprised 100-plus children with the bicycles.
