The Chargers have a chance to move back to two games over .500 on Monday Night Football.
Members of ESPN's NFL staff took a deeper look at the primetime matchup in Week 7 between the Bolts and Cardinals.
One of the more intriguing battles of this Monday's game comes from the Bolts defense, which is coming from another impressive performance where they shut out the Broncos through three quarters to secure the win.
Following Thursday Night Football, the Bolts rank eighth in the NFL in passing yards allowed per game with 192.0, while the Cardinals offense ranks 24th in pass yards per game with 187.
ESPN analyst Seth Walder's bold prediction for this week's game has the Chargers pass defense keeping everything in front of them.
Walder wrote:
Cardinals QB Kyler Murray will average under 6.5 air yards per pass attempt. The Chargers run two-high coverage 58% of the time (third most) and have at least one outside corner in press coverage only 25% of the time (least often). That should lead to shorter passes.

According to ESPN's Football Power Index, the Cardinals are slightly favored with a 51.7 percent chance to win (by an average of 0.6 points). However, two out of the three ESPN analysts — Kalyn Kahler, Eric Moody and Walder — predict the Bolts will pull out the win in Arizona.
And for as much as the Chargers defense has been stellar to start, the offense is coming off its best day of the season so far.
The unit scored on their first four possessions, put up a season-best 350 yards of offense and went a season-best 11 for 18 on third downs.
Quarterback Justin Herbert had his best performance of the season thus with 237 passing yards on 34 attempts and has a chance to build on it going against a Cardinals defense that ranks in the bottom half of the league in pass defense.
It's what ESPN's Kris Rhim has his eye on in primetime.
Rhim wrote:
QB Justin Herbert is coming off his best game of the season, with season highs in passing yards (237), completions (21) and attempts (34). The Cardinals are allowing the 11th-most passing yards per game (220.3) in the NFL this season, and offensive coordinator Greg Roman could look to build on Herbert's performance last week with another passing outburst. The Chargers could also get wide receiver DJ Chark Jr., who has been on injured reserve all season, back Monday night.
