What Are Justin Herbert's 2025 MVP Odds?

Vegas views the Chargers quarterback among the top players that could win the award in 2025

Herbert odds buzz

There's no doubt Justin Herbert ranks among the league's best after another strong season in which he oftentimes played like an MVP.

But how good of a chance does he have to win the award in 2025?

After an impressive fifth season in the NFL and first with Head Coach Jim Harbaugh, Vegas views Herbert as a strong candidate for the NFL's Most Valuable Player Award in 2025.

Vegas sportsbooks released their odds for next year's MVP and have the Chargers franchise quarterback squarely in the mix.

Herbert has the sixth-highest odds to win the award at +2000 according to DraftKings.

Those odds only trail Lamar Jackson (+500), Josh Allen (+550), Patrick Mahomes (+750), Joe Burrow (+750) and Jayden Daniels (+1000).

He also has the seventh-best odds according to both FanDuel (+2200) and Caesars Sportsbook (+2500).

And it's for good reason, as Herbert is coming off a season in which he finished top 10 in passing yards, quarterback rating and pass EPA in his first season in Chargers Offensive Coordinator Greg Roman’s scheme.

He also finished with three interceptions on 504 passing attempts, an interception percentage of just 0.6 percent — the second-fewest picks and second-best interception percentage in NFL history by any player in a season (min. 450 attempts).

Most notably however, Herbert will get a chance to spend a full offseason in the same offensive scheme, something the Bolts quarterback has only been able to do once so far in his young career.

2025 could mean big things for Herbert and the Chargers.

Take a look back at the best photos of Justin Herbert's 2024 campaign. Herbert recorded 3870 passing yards, 23 touchdowns and a 101.7 passer rating in the 2024-2025 NFL season.
