Master Sergeant Min Han was born in Seoul, South Korea and enlisted in the Army 17 years ago. MSG Han has served three tours of Duty in Iraq (Operation Iraqi Freedom 07-09 /Operation New Dawn) and Afghanistan (Operation Enduring Freedom V). MSG Han received her Bachelor's degree in Homeland Security from Columbia Southern University while she served in the Army. Her awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, eight Army Commendation Medals, ten Army Achievement Medals, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Air Assault Badge, and Army Recruiting Badge. In two months, MSG Han will deploy to South Korea.
The Military Hero of the Week presented by California Resources Corporation was created to acknowledge the heroic efforts and sacrifices made by our U.S. service members, veterans and their families. Each week of the Regular Season the Los Angeles Chargers will honor a Military Hero. The honored service member will receive four tickets to a Chargers home game where he or she will be recognized on-field.
