Staff Sargeant Saul Diaz has served in the Army for 8 years and his deployments include Operations Resolute Support in Eastern Afghanistan, Nangarhar Province. His achievements include Combat Javelin Train the Trainer, Combat Life Savers Course, Army Combatives Level 1, Pashto-Defense Language Institute Course, Air Assault School, Warrior Leader Course, Unit Prevention Leader, Rifle Marksmanship Instructor Course, Machine Gun Leader Course, Cavalry Advanced Leader Course, Master Resilience Trainer, Sharp Course, and the NTC Observer Controller/Trainer (OCT) Academy.
The Military Hero of the Week presented by California Resources Corporation was created to acknowledge the heroic efforts and sacrifices made by our U.S. service members, veterans and their families. Each week of the Regular Season the Los Angeles Chargers will honor a Military Hero. The honored service member will receive four tickets to a Chargers home game where he or she will be recognized on-field.
