The Los Angeles Chargers signed two rookie minicamp invitees following the weekend, the organization announced on Monday.
Justice Liggins joins the Chargers from Stephen F. Austin where he appeared in 36 games and made 13 starts at wide receiver. The 6-1 wideout caught 102 passes for 1,166 yards and eight touchdowns. Liggins spent the 2017 preseason with the Indianapolis Colts.
Patrick Afriyie played along the defensive line at Colgate where he appeared in 44 games and made 29 career starts. He registered 152 tackles, including 92 solo stops. His 26.5 career sacks rank second in program history and seventh in the Patriot League annals.
