The Chargers roster went through a shift this offseason as an influx of young talent were added alongside high-level veterans.
But just how young is the Bolts roster now heading into the new season?
Bookies.com broke down every NFL roster to find out how each teams' average age stacked up entering 2024.
The site used the birthdates of every player as of the regular season opener, September 5th, that is projected to be on a 53-man roster (1,696 in total) and used an algorithm created for Microsoft Excel to calculate the numbers.
Their breakdown found the Chargers are the fifth-youngest team in the NFL.
The average age of a Chargers player is 26 years, two months and 15 days old, which is below the league average of 26 years, eight months and 23 days.
The only AFC team with a younger average age is the AFC West rival Broncos, who have an average age of 26 years, one month and 19 days.
The Packers hold the youngest average age at 25 years, seven months and 25 days while the Bills hold the oldest average age of 27 years, five months and 29 days.
