The Bolts fell 20-10 in Pittsburgh in a physical game that saw dominant play from both teams.

The Chargers led 7-0 after the first quarter and 10-7 at halftime but couldn't hold the lead against the Steelers, who won the second half in their home opener.

2. What is the Chargers record?

The Chargers currently sit at 2-1 on the season.

The Bolts won their first two games against the Raiders and Panthers before coming up short against the Steelers.

The Chargers sit in second place in the AFC West behind the Chiefs (3-0) and ahead of the Raiders and Broncos, both of whom are 1-2.

The Bolts, one of six AFC teams with a winning record, would be the No. 6 seed in the AFC playoff picture.

3. Who stood out in Week 3?

Khalil Mack was the Chargers highest-graded player by Pro Football Focus standards as he earned an overall grade of 82.2.

Mack had a sack midway through the first quarter on quarterback Justin Fields. Mack leads the Chargers with 2.5 sacks this year and has 104.0 sacks in his career.

The Bolts were paced offensively by rookie Ladd McConkey, who earned a PFF grade of 71.3 against Pittsburgh.

McConkey tied for the team lead in both catches (three) and yards (44) on Sunday.

4. How's the health of the squad?

The Bolts are a bit banged up right now, beginning with quarterback Justin Herbert.

Herbert was listed as questionable going into Week 3 but started and played well in the first half.

But the Chargers quarterback said he reaggravated the injury on a third-quarter sack and felt he couldn't give his team the best chance to win anymore. Taylor Heinicke played in relief on Herbert.

Left tackle Rashawn Slater left the game with a pectoral injury while Chargers Head Coach Jim Harbaugh said right guard Trey Pipkins III dealt with a finger issue. Rookie Joe Alt appeared to hobble off on the Chargers final offensive play of the game.

Wide receiver Joshua Palmer did not play in Week 3 due to elbow and knee injuries.

Outside linebacker Joey Bosa had been battling a hip issue and tweaked it on the first play of the game Sunday. He played just two total snaps in Pittsburgh.

Linebacker Junior Colson did not play against the Steelers due to a hamstring injury.

5. Which team is the next opponent?

The Chiefs, who lead the division and are considered the class of the league right now.

Kansas City has won back-to-back Super Bowls and has claimed three championships in a five-year span.

The Bolts are looking for their first home win against the Chiefs since 2013.
