The Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday agreed to terms with defensive lineman Naquan Jones.
Here are five things to know about Jones:
1. Career high in sacks
The 27-year-old veteran joins the Bolts coming off one of the better seasons of his four-year career.
Jones notched a career-best 3.0 sacks in 12 games last season in Arizona, playing mainly as a rotational piece along Cardinals defensive line.
He also tied his career-high with four tackles for loss he achieved in his rookie season and added on 27 tackles and two passes defensed.
2. Making his mark as a UDFA
Jones went undrafted out of college, but he was able to carve out a role for himself rather quickly.
He signed with the Titans as a rookie and took advantage of his opportunity when it came early in the regular season as he would go on to play 13 games, starting five of them.
Jones even got the start in Tennessee's playoff game that year, notching half a sack, two tackles and two quarterback hits.
The defensive lineman played two more seasons with the Titans before joining the Cardinals and has totaled 89 tackles (38 solo), 6.5 sacks, 11 tackles for loss and four pass breakups.

3. Tennessee connections in L.A.
Jones is joining a Bolts defense where he already knows quite a few players.
He won't have to look far, as he rejoins Teair Tart in the defensive line room. Tart, who was extended by the Chargers earlier in the week, spent a pair of seasons with Jones in Tennessee.
Jones also is reunited with Bud Dupree, which whom he played with in his lone playoff game during the 2021 season.
And of course there's also safety Elijah Molden, who was with the Titans during Jones' tenure there.
4. Disruptor in the Big Ten
Chargers Head Coach Jim Harbaugh saw Jones up close during his time at Michigan.
The defensive lineman spent his college career at Michigan State and was a member of the rival Spartans.
After redshirting his first year, Jones became a regular on the Michigan State defensive line and played for four years.
He finished his career in East Lansing with 78 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, three passes defensed, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in his 46 career games.
5. Two-way player
One of the top defensive tackles in the country coming out of high school, Jones was quite the athlete at Evanston Township High School in Illinois.
Besides manning the interior of the defensive line, he took on a spot on offense as well during his last couple of years.
Jones became a two-way starter in 17 of his last 19 games, taking over both right and left tackle duties in addition to defensive tackle.
