We've approached just over 24 hours until the 2025 NFL Draft kicks off in Green Bay.

After months of prospect workouts and pre-draft activities, the question of what the Bolts will do when they're on the clock with the No. 22 pick will soon be answered.

Rather than try their hand at a normal mock draft with the event on the horizon, ESPN draft analysts Matt Miller and Jordan Reid looked at each team and identified two players — a prospect who would best fill the team's biggest need and a prospect who would give each team maximum value at that slot.

And when the Chargers are on the clock at No. 22, Miller believes the pick that would fill the team's biggest need is Penn State tight end Tyler Warren.

Miller wrote:

Signing Najee Harris checked running back off the team's early needs, leaving tight end as the clear-cut top priority. The Chargers signed Tyler Conklin, but Warren would fill a hole and provide good value as a top 10 player on my board.

Warren is one of the top two players at his position in the class and a top 10 overall prospect by some pundits.

Jim Harbaugh was drafted in 1987 and went on to play 15 seasons as an NFL quarterback. Now at the helm of the Bolts, he's bringing that same passion and experience to his leadership role. Take a look back at the remarkable journey that shaped Harbaugh's path from the field to the sidelines.

Fellow ESPN colleague Mel Kiper, Jr., has the 6-foot-5 ½ tight end as his No. 7 overall prospect, while Reid ranked him at No. 10.

A tight end at No. 22 would give the Bolts a long-term player at the position, but on the other hand, Reid believes adding in a pass catcher on the outside would be more valuable to this Chargers team.

He went with Ohio State wide receiver Emeka Egbuka, his No. 21 overall prospect.

Reid wrote:

More pass-game help for quarterback Justin Herbert never hurts, and Egbuka is the best wide receiver remaining on my board. He's a steady and detailed route runner with excellent hands.

Egbuka, who finished second all-time in Ohio State history with 2,868 career receiving yards, was a dependable target with the Buckeyes and became just the second Ohio State player to have two 1,000-yard receiving seasons.

Adding him is something Reid believes would be more valuable for the Chargers offense and give the team another young receiver to pair alongside Ladd McConkey as well.
