Bolts Bring K Michael Badgley Back via Practice Squad

One day after being waived from the active roster to make room for Hayes Pullard, Michael Badgley returns to the Bolts as the Chargers signed the kicker to the practice squad. The team had an open vacancy as Detrez Newsome was promoted to the 53-man roster the day before the Titans game.

Badgley joined the Chargers prior to their game against the Cleveland Browns, filling in for a pair of contests while Caleb Sturgis was sidelined with a quad injury. The rookie out of Miami made all three of his field goal attempts over that span, including a long of 44 yards, as well as all seven of his extra point tries. His 16 total points over that span rank as the most points without missing a kick over his first two career games in Chargers history.
