With the 2024 NFL regular season less than two weeks away, the Los Angeles Chargers will host multiple events across Southern California in the lead-up to their Sunday, Sept. 8 season opener at SoFi Stadium.
This Charge Up to Kickoff will span all of Southern California and includes stops in San Diego, Orange County, the Inland Empire and Los Angeles' South Bay. Fans gathering at the various locales will have the opportunity to score team giveaways, food and beverage discounts, exclusive merchandise and meet Chargers Legends.
The week-long celebration culminates on Friday night with the South Bay's iconic "Battle at the Beach" – a storied rivalry game between Redondo Union and Mira Costa High Schools. Chargers players will serve as honorary captains while fans of both the Sea Hawks and Mustangs will receive exclusive giveaways as they prepare to cheer on their teams.
