Chargers Waive Max Tuerk

The Los Angeles Chargers announced on Tuesday that they've waived center Max Tuerk.

Originally a third-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft out of USC, Tuerk was inactive for all 16 games of his rookie campaign.  He was suspended for the first four games of the 2017 season for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances.

In addition, the team waived DE Whitney Richardson from the practice squad.
