The National Football League today announced that Los Angeles Chargers outside linebacker Joey Bosa has been named to the 2025 Pro Bowl Games. The all-star nod marks Bosa's fifth career Pro Bowl selection, the third-most by a Chargers defensive player in history.
Bosa will replace Chargers outside linebacker Khalil Mack, who is unable to participate due to injury.
The Ohio State product posted five sacks and 13 quarterback hits in 2024. Bosa's eight career seasons with at least five sacks are tied for the second-most since he entered the league as a first-round pick in 2016. The edge rusher started nine-of-14 games played and added a pair of forced fumbles and 22 tackles. In the playoffs, Bosa registered his second career postseason sack.
Bosa helped the Chargers boast the NFL's top scoring defense, allowing just 17.7 points per game, the fewest for a Bolts defense since 2017. The unit was also the NFL's best in the red zone, allowing touchdowns on just 18-of-40 red zone drives (45.0 pct.).
The 2025 Pro Bowl Games will be played at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla., on February 2
