The Los Angeles Chargers today signed wide receiver Isaiah Wooden.
Wooden played the last two seasons at Southern Utah (2022-23) after beginning his career at Kent State (2020-21). In his two years with the Thunderbirds, Wooden totaled 100 receptions for 1,726 yards (17.3 avg.) and 20 touchdowns. He ranked No. 2 in 2023 among all FCS players with 14 touchdown grabs, also adding 904 receiving yards on 61 receptions to earn first-team All-United Athletic Conference honors. Wooden, who prepped at Helix High in La Mesa, Calif., spent time this offseason with the Atlanta Falcons and will wear No. 83 for the Chargers.
