The Los Angeles Chargers today announced Passing Game Coordinator Marcus Brady will attend the 2024 Coach Accelerator program, which aims to strengthen the pipeline of diverse coaching candidates throughout the league. The program will take place from May 20-22 during the Spring League Meeting in Nashville, Tenn.

A former quarterback, Brady enters his first season with the Chargers after helping the Philadelphia Eagles clinch a pair of playoff berths from 2022-23, including an appearance in Super Bowl LVII. He helped coach Jalen Hurts to a pair of Pro Bowl selections with the Eagles, as well as Andrew Luck and Jonathan Taylor in Indianapolis.

Brady will represent the Chargers and engage in professional development opportunities, building relationships with owners and executives, as well as further developing leadership skills. In addition to networking and personal development programming, coaches will receive insight to future initiatives, both on and off the field, to contextualize how the game will continue to develop.

Launched in 2022, the Accelerator serves as a platform for clubs and owners to engage with qualified coaching candidates from diverse backgrounds. The Spring Accelerator is the fifth iteration of the program following the Front Office Accelerator held in Dallas, Texas, in December 2023.
